Well folks, X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE is a little over a month away from hitting theaters… and we still have NO IDEA what it’s about.

And I’m loving it! This is the way flicks should be. We don’t know anything outside the trailer until we actually sit our asses in that theater and hand over our hard earned money in a leap of faith. That sh*t’s like gambling! And X-FILES 2 is looking like something I want to put money on.

The update we have for you today is over in our videos section. We’ve thrown up the second trailer for this long awaited sequel. Just click the screenshot below to check that bad boy out.

X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE is directed by Chris Carter, who also penned the script with long time collaborator Frank Spotnitz. It stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson (below) as the legendary Mulder and Scully while Xzibit, Amanda Peet, and Billy Connolly also join in on the fun. It hits theaters everywhere on July 25.
