We’ve always assumed that the upcoming Netflix horror film Night Teeth was a vampire movie, and now that the trailer has been released online the streaming service is ready to openly confirm that this is a movie about bloodsuckers. Click on the image of Lucy Fry and her fangs in the embed above to get a preview of Night Teeth‘s vampire action. The film will be available to watch on Netflix of October 20th.

Directed by Adam Randall (I See You) from a screenplay by first-timer Brent Dillon, Night Teeth stars Debby Ryan (Jessie, Insatiable), Lucy Fry (Bright, Wolf Creek), Raúl Castillo (We the Animals, Army of the Dead), Alfie Allen (John Wick, The Predator), Alexander Ludwig (Vikings, The Final Girls), Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria, Sharp Objects), Megan Fox (Jennifer’s Body, Rogue), and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Alita: Battle Angel, Bumblebee). Before today, this was the only synopsis that was out there:

A young chauffeur drives two beautiful young women to five different parties and finds himself fighting for his life after he discovers they’re not who they claim to be. This is a film about three young people stuck together for the night. Within the confines of this vehicle, it’s the changing relationships; the suspicion, attraction and threat are all part of it.

That synopsis has now been expanded to acknowledge the vampirism of it all:

To earn some extra cash, quirky college student Benny (Jorge Lendeborg, Jr.) moonlights as a chauffeur for one night. His task: drive two mysterious young women (Debby Ryan and Lucy Fry) around Los Angeles for a night of party hopping. Taken captive by his clients’ charm, he soon learns that his passengers have their own plans for him – and an insatiable thirst for blood. As his night spins out of control, Benny is thrust into the middle of a clandestine war that pits rival tribes of vampires against the protectors of the human world, led by his brother (Raúl Castillo), who will stop at nothing to send them back into the shadows. With sunrise fast approaching, Benny is forced to choose between fear and temptation if he wants to stay alive and save the City of Angels.

Night Teeth was produced by Ben Pugh and Charlie Morrison of 42 and Vincent Gatewood of Unique Features, while Unique Features’ Bob Shaye, best known for being the founder of New Line Cinema (and for appearing as himself in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare), serves as executive producer alongside 42’s Erica Steinberg.
