Norman Reedus still in talks for Boondock Saints 3

One movie that everyone I know seems to love is Troy Duffy's THE BOONDOCK SAINTS starring Willem Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Norman Reedus. We got a sequel to the film a few years back (10 years?!) and now THE WALKING DEAD superstar Norman Reedus lets us all know that there are still talks for THE BOONDOCK SAINTS III.

He says:

There’s still talk of [The Boondock Saints 3] every year, but I don’t know where we’re at with that right now.

I know it's not much to go on, but if you're as big a fan of this film as everyone else in my life, then it will be enough to get you through another ten years. Maybe. In the meantime, remember, the first film followed:

Irish Catholic twin brothers Conner (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) who are tired of the crime overrunning the streets of Boston, and are inspired by their faith to cleanse their hometown of evil with their own brand of zealous vigilante justice. As they hunt down and kill one notorious gangster after another, they become controversial folk heroes in the community. But Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe), an eccentric FBI agent, is fast closing in on their blood-soaked trail.

The sequel BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS DAY then picked up with

Connor (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy MacManus (Norman Reedus) who have been living in Ireland for several years, working on a farm with their father (Billy Connolly). When they learn they've been charged with the murder of a Roman Catholic priest, the brothers travel to Boston to clear their names. Along the way, they meet Romeo (Clifton Collins Jr.), a street fighter who joins them in their quest to find Concezio Yakavetta (Judd Nelson), a mobster who they think is really behind the murder.

Written and directed by Troy Duffy THE BOONDOCK SAINTS stars Willem Dafoe, Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus, David Della Rocco, and Billy Connolly.
