So this is interesting! The screenwriter for the awesome and satirical cult classic SOCIETY, Zeph E. Daniel, has written a new film that seems to be another cult classic in the making – if its trippy, arthouse visuals in the trailer are anything to go by – called GIRL NEXT. Here's the official snyopsis:
Lorian West is perfect. She’s young, upscale, connected, the right school, the right politics, the classic blonde, blue-eyed American beauty. Unknown to Lorian though, she’s been targeted for abduction. She’s drugged and taken to a remote rundown ranch where international tra?ckers not only deliver women for sex, but change them into obedient, beautiful yet placid and willing-to-please sex dolls. They also kill the ones who resist the program. So?a is the newest model from Heinrich, a kind of international trendy druggy scientist whose genius is using trauma-based mind control techniques along with other hideous extremes of physical and mental torture to create the perfect doll. Heinrich thinks Lorian is actually the next breakthrough model and is excited to raise the price of delivery.

I personally like what I see so far, on a visual level, though here's hoping there's more to the story than what the exploitative synopsis seems to entail. Though, to be fair, the synopsis of SOCIETY doesn't do it justice either – and had far more on its mind than simply thrills, titillation, and gore – so I'm assuming this one will be the same way.
