Only Murders in the Building cast gains another tenant in Cara Delevingne for Season 2

The Only Murders in the Building cast has just welcomed a new tenant in Cara Delevingne (Carnival Row, Suicide Squad). Reports indicate that Delevingne will play Alice, a sophisticated art world insider who becomes enmeshed in the mystery.

Delevingne recently wrapped production for the second season of the Prime Video series Carnival Row, which also stars Orlando Bloom. She plays a rough-around-the-edges member of the Fae named Vignette Stonemoss in the supernatural series, which fans are hoping gets picked up for a third season. Thankfully, Delevingne’s filming schedule for Carnival Row does not conflict with her new spot on Only Murders in the Building.

Speaking of the Only Murders in the Building cast, the show already stars three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one as they investigate the mysterious death of a neighbor in their New York City apartment building.

Only Murders in the Building has received an overwhelming amount of praise from those that have tuned in. The show currently holds a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 94% Audience Score. It’s also one of my favorite shows of 2021. It’s addictive, clever, downright hilarious, and displays tremendous chemistry between its three primary stars. I was thrilled to see so many people enjoying it week-to-week while the first season was in play, and I can’t wait to see how Martin, Short, and Gomez make their way out of the show’s sticky Season 1 cliffhanger.

Delevigne’s next feature, Punk, is currently in pre-production. She stars in the film alongside musical pariah Machine Gun Kelly. Punk is directed and written by Richard Hughes and tells of a man’s road trip across North America with a group of free-spirited runaways. One thing leads to another, and the journey gets complicated rather quickly.
