This is the first I’m hearing about PARASOMNIA, and it sounds like it might not be half bad.
PARASOMNIA is being written and directed by William Malone, the guy who brought us the HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL remake and FEARDOTCOM. It’s about Laura Baxter, a young woman suffering from the titular condition that causes her to be asleep for most of her life due to a childhood accident. A mesmerist who shared hospital space with her becomes obsessed with Baxter and plans to invade her dreams to take control of her, but an art student who has fallen in love with her may be able to save her before it’s too late.
Horror.com scored the new trailer for the flick, and after checking it out, it’s safe to assume PARASOMNIA is going to be deliciously twisted. You can check out said trailer right over here. It’s got some twisted stuff in there and then gets into some very nice gore. Sure it’s nothing spectacular, but it’s definately notable.
As stated, PARASOMNIA is written and directed by William Malone and stars Cherilyn Wilson, Dylan Purcell, Patrick Kilpatrick, Jeffrey Combs, Timothy Bottoms, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and Sarah Laine (below), with a cameo by John Landis.
