Will Peter Dinklage and his rockin' mullet wind up being the high point of PIXELS? Without having seen the film in the slightest I feel safe in saying…yes, yes he will. Adam Sandler's latest vacation with friends finds the Earth being attacked by aliens in the form of retro video-game characters which leads President Cooper (Kevin James) to call upon his old friend and former video-game champion, Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler.) Together they assemble a crack team of video-game experts which includes Sam's former nemesis Eddie "The Fireblaster" Plant (Peter Dinklage.)

The film's official synopsis:
When intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (James) has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Dinklage and Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet.
PIXELS will be invading theaters July 24, 2015.
