Poster for trilogy capper Skylin3s prepares to invade an alien world

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

The first two films in the SKYLINE trilogy, 2010's SKYLINE (watch it HERE) and 2017's BEYOND SKYLINE (watch that one HERE), were about aliens invading our world. Now the trilogy is set to come to a close with a film titled SKYLIN3S, and this one is also about an alien invasion – but this time around, it's humans who will be invading the alien world.

There's no word on when SKYLIN3S is going to be released, but a new poster for the film has arrived online and can be seen below.

Written and directed by Liam O'Donnell, who wrote both previous films and directed the second, SKYLIN3S tells the following story:

When a virus threatens to turn earth-dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley assembles an elite team of mercenaries on a mission to the alien world to save humanity.

Lindsey Morgan stars as Corley, a character who was introduced in BEYOND SKYLINE and is described as "a human with extraterrestrial superpowers that mean she is the only person powerful enough to vanquish the marauders."

SKYLIN3S was produced by O'Donnell, the Brothers Strause (who directed the first film), and Matthew Chausse. XYZ Films executive produced.

I haven't been a fan of the SKYLINE movies up to this point, but I like how this sequel is going to turn things around on the aliens and have their world get invaded. I'll watch it, and hopefully I'll enjoy it more than the first two films.
