Images for China’s first 3D shark attack movie surface

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

China is certainly no stranger to horror films or creature features, so it's surprising to find out they've never had a shark attack movie before now – something so ubiquitous here that we just recently had MEG dominate the box-office, while also letting the SHARKNADO series have five f*cking sequels.

But now China has a big-budget one coming out soon called HORROR SHARK (aka BLOOD SHARK) 3D (a gimmick employed by the second worst JAWS sequel). Here's the synopsis:

a swimmer and a marine paradise trainer who accidentally fall into a huge conspiracy about blood sharks.

Not going to lie, really looking forward to find out what the hell a "blood shark" is exactly.

Anyway, besides that, there are also some official stills from the production and the poster which you can see below. So what do you guys think? Will this be China's new JAWS…or new SHARKNADO? Either way, sound off below!
