Preview: Warner Bros

The WB followed SONY’s
lead
and tossed their fall movie preview our way today and it includes one
of my most anticipated movies of the year: I AM LEGEND! It sucked that WB
didn’t give us any LEGEND *sugar* at the Comic Con this year, but the film’s teaser
trailer
was a nice warm-up and now I’m looking forward to more coolness to
come this fall.

And speaking of which, Eastwood is back again with a WB fall
release only…it’s not from Clint, but his daughter Alison! That’s
right, in a film entitled RAILS & TIES whose plotline I stopped reading
after the word “suicidal mother” (fun times). It seems the movie stars
Kevin Bacon and Marcia Gay Harden (uhhhm, didn’t they star in her father’s
MYSTIC RIVER? Hmmm.) I hear Alison Eastwood’s next film is entitled NEPOTISM and
it stars her!!! Sorry man, just had to let that out. I feel better now.

Seems the WB is pretty serious this fall with dramas all around
with George Clooney’s MICHAEL CLAYTON leading the way, Brad Pitt’s ASSASSINATION
OF JESSE JAMES finally seeing the light of a movie theater it seems, and Jodie
Foster getting all ACCUSED on our asses in a film called THE BRAVE ONE. Oh and
let’s not forget the Christmas Day release of THE BUCKET LIST starring Jack
Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. ‘Nuff said.

FRED CLAUS looked good originally, but nothing that we’ve seen
from the film so far is looking all too great (let’s hope it gets better) and
I’ll go see AUGUST RUSH because I think I have this “thing” for Keri
Russell. Oh and they’re also releasing something called PS: I LOVE YOU around X-Mas
starring Hilary Swank and Lisa Kudrow? M’oookay. Check
out all of the new images below, and as per usual, click on any of the pics below for more
info on the film, or check out the entire list of 2007
