Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed earlier this year that Disney does want to do another INDIANA JONES movie, however Kennedy wasn't sure when it will happen, since they haven’t started working on a script yet. While there's been talk of Harrison Ford returning as the whip-cracking archaeologist, it's also been rumored that Disney is looking to recast the role, but during an interview with Total Film, producer Frank Marshall said they're "not doing the Bond thing where we’re going to call somebody else Indiana Jones… we have to figure this out.”

While that's good news for those of you who are of the opinion that Ford is Indy, Marshall went on to say "There’s a bunch of people who could probably take the baton,” but also said that they "haven’t even sat down to talk about Indy yet."

Although Marshall says they haven't talked about a fifth movie yet, it almost sounds like he'd be down for introducing a new character in it to take over the series, which I really don't think is a good idea. People want to see Indiana Jones, be it Ford or a different actor in the role, and I doubt most would be interested in checking out a follow-up that would focus on the new character. What do you think Disney should do with the INDIANA JONES franchise?
