Our boy, Scott Adkins, is coming back to action comedy. Recently, you were able to see the martial arts star in The Rip from Joe Carnahan, with stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. Now, Adkins gets to showcase some of his humor in the upcoming UK action film Reckless. Sky recently released the trailer for the action heist thriller Fuze and the international channel has released this film on Sky Cinema in the UK, but there is currently no announcement for a distribution with a North American release. But a fun trailer is now available to view online!

Adkins stars in this film with Vinnie Jones, along with Nicole Deon, Kris Johnson, Dean Gaffney, Adam Deacon, Jordan Long, and Mark Strange. The plot synopsis reads, “A former convict on parole must outwit the police to get his share of an old heist.”

According to First Showing,
Reckless is directed by British-Argentinian filmmaker Elliott Montello, making his feature directorial debut with this project after a few other short films previously. The screenplay is written by Matthew Robert Kelly and Stu Small; from a story by Matthew Robert Kelly. It’s also produced by Matthew Robert Kelly. Filmed on location in London, England. With stunt coordination by Jude Poyer. Screenwriter Stu Small is a frequent collaborator with Adkins and wrote both of the Accident Man movies. If you’ve seen those films, you know you’re in for a bloody good time with great action and fun irreverent humor.

Adkins’ co-star in this film, Vinnie Jones, was also recently announced to reunite with Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie on Viva La Madness. Viva La Madness is a new film is based on a J.J. Connolly novel that is a sequel to his Layer Cake book. However, the confusing part is that the movie, which was written by both Connolly and Ritchie, is not serving as a sequel to Matthew Vaughn’s Layer Cake movie from 2004, which Connolly also wrote. This upcoming Viva La Madness feature is intended to be a standalone film. Jones had previously worked with Statham and Ritchie on Lock, Stock and Two Smoking BarrelsSnatch and Mean Machine
