I’m sure hockey is watched widely not just for the display of talent and skill but, like NASCAR, for the potential for extreme chaos and violence. GOON: LAST OF THE ENFORCERS, promises to deliver on that violence with plenty of on-ice fights with pools of blood painting the rink. To give you a taste a new red band trailer has just dropped, and it doesn’t fail on making you see red.

Is it just me, or was that trailer also oddly heartfelt? It’s like it tried to off-balance the violence by showcasing the movie as an inspirational sports story. The movie has potential to be just that, given how it will dig into the character of Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) and possibly tell a more personal story. There will be a lot of blood in GOON 2, but also a lot of feelings. It's got everything!
