I’ve got some awesome news for you all today! This news is a bit of a hidden gem out of a New York Post article involving Alex Aja’s PIRANHA 3-D. The article claims there’s a fourth cast member joining the flick… Ving Rhames!
You can’t get cooler than Ving Rhames. Just look at the dude! He looks like he’d punch me in the face just to say Hi. And that’s him being nice! And I’d love it! I’d like to add that the dude likes wearing his hats tilted sideways. Google images proved that. But back to the point of this article. Apparently Rhames will be joining Adam Scott, Elisabeth Shue (below), and Richard Dreyfuss in the 3-D fish battling adventure! That’s quite the cast!
Add to that the directing talent of one Alex Aja, who has dropped the ‘andre,’ and we’ve got something to look forward to! PIRANHA 3-D is quickly shaping up to be one of the biggest upcoming horror flicks. If you want to read up a bit more on PIRANHA 3-D you can check out THIS Mohave Daily News article where they mention how they’re looking for 1000+ extras ranging from very minor to nearly major roles! Interesting! Forget that though… I’m still stoked Rhames is on board! Filming starts May 11th so keep it here for updates as we hear them!
