Last week, writer/director Rob Zombie began working on the sound mix for his new film THREE FROM HELL, a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, and while doing that he has been taking pictures of the movie playing on a large screen in front of him and sharing those pictures on his Instagram account. On the first day of sound mixing Zombie shared a shot of ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13's Austin Stoker as TV news reporter Earl Gibson. On day two the picture was of Sheri Moon Zombie as her CORPSES / REJECTS character Baby.
Zombie has continued sharing a picture for each day of sound mixing, and the latest ones are compiled below.
Day three brought a shot of Richard Brake's character Winslow Foxworth Coltrane.
Day four's picture was of Jeff Daniel Phillips as prison warden Virgil Dallas Harper.
On day five, Zombie shared a picture of the character played by Richard Edson.
Day six brought another shot of Baby, this time sporting a fresh wound on her face.
Zombie has shared a lot of THREE FROM HELL-related images on his Instagram account ever since production began, but has managed to keep most of the film's secrets under wraps. All we really know about it is that Baby and her fellow rejects Otis (Bill Moseley) and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) survived the shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and have been locked up in prison ever since.
And we know the names of several cast members. In addition to those mentioned above there are Danny Trejo, Daniel Roebuck, Clint Howard, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Chaz Bono, Barry Bostwick, and Jossara Jinaro.
Lionsgate and Saban Films will be releasing THREE FROM HELL later this year, and there has been some speculation that it might be getting a Halloween release.
