Writer/director Rob Zombie's latest film THREE FROM HELL, a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, has now entered the sound mixing stage of post-production, and Zombie has marked the occasion by doing something he does quite frequently: he shared a couple THREE FROM HELL related images on his Instagram account.
These two latest images are actually pictures of the movie playing out on the screen in front of Zombie, complete with a "Property of Lionsgate" watermark. In one shot we have ASSAULT ON PRECINCT 13's Austin Stoker as TV news reporter Earl Gibson, giving an update on the three killers known as "The Devil's Rejects", and in the other we have one of those rejects, Sheri Moon Zombie as Baby.
An official synopsis has still never been released for THREE FROM HELL, but we do know that the story begins with Baby, Bill Moseley's Otis, and Sid Haig's Captain Spaulding in prison, having survived the police shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS.
The returning rejects are joined in the cast by Stoker, Danny Trejo, Daniel Roebuck, Clint Howard, Richard Brake, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Emilio Rivera, David Ury, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Edson, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Chaz Bono, Barry Bostwick, and Jossara Jinaro.
Lionsgate and Saban Films will be releasing THREE FROM HELL later this year.
