Ron Perlman campaigns for Cable role in Deadpool sequel

Deadpool 2 Ron Perlman

You can add Ron Perlman to the list of actors who are gunning to play Cable in DEADPOOL 2. Stephen Lang and Dolph Lundgren have both expressed interest in the role, and yesterday Perlman took to his social media accounts to announce that he also wants play Cable. As for why the actor thinks he is qualified to portray the time-traveling mutant, Perlman said, "I'm the only one with Cable's friggin HAIR!"

The defense rests…….

Although I think Perlman (as well as Lang and Lundgren) would do just fine in the role, I'm kind of hoping that director Tim Miller will go with someone a little younger (but not too young) to play the comic book character. If you had to pick between the three, who would you want to play Cable in DEADPOOL 2: Lang, Lundgren or Perlman?

DEADPOOL 2 doesn't have an official release date yet, however it might be one of those upcoming untitled FOX/Marvel movies.
