One flick that seems to be grabbing people’s interest is Rodrigo Cortes’ BURIED. What started as a little independent flick starring Ryan Reynolds is now a flick set to be released across the country. Alright, we can dig that. Especially considering BURIED is looking halfway decent.
Now a couple weeks ago I showed you guys the newest trailer for the flick and here I am today to give you all a look at the brand new one-sheet! Actually this poster isn’t entirely new… We’ve seen the shot of Reynolds buried at the bottom of the poster before and we’ve seen the taglines… Throw the two together and what do we get? But when he wakes up 6 feet underground with no idea of who put him there or why, life for the truck driver and family man instantly becomes a hellish struggle for survival. Buried with only a cell phone and a lighter, his contact with the outside world and ability to piece together clues that could help him discover his location are maddeningly limited. Poor reception, a rapidly draining battery, and a dwindling oxygen supply become his worst enemies in a tightly confined race against time- fighting panic, despair and delirium, Paul has only 90 minutes to be rescued before his worst nightmare comes true.
Robert Patterson, Samantha Mathis (below), Stephen Tobolowski, Jose Luis Garcia Perez, Warner Laughlin, Ivana Mino, Erik Palladino, Anne Lockhart and Judy Reyes all join Ryan Reynolds in the suspenseful thriller, which is due to hit theaters on October 6th.
