If you’re a fan of either the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise or the SAW franchise then this should be a great week for you! I just hit you all with the latest of the NIGHTMARE updates and the SAW updates are coming just as frequent! First we had the news that Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton are already working on a script for SAW VII then we saw that SAW VI motion poster and lastly we passed along the good word that SAW was goin 3D!
Well today we’ve got yet another SAW VI update for you all in the form of another poster! Unfortunately this one keeps still but it’s still worth checking out. Now I’ve openly expressed my disinterest for the SAW franchise post-SAW II but I can’t help but be intrigued by the tagline for SAW VI: The game comes full circle.
Obviously that tells us we’ll be revisiting the first film in some way and dare I say I’m excited about that? Then again this is the SAW franchise… they seem to pull a whole trunk of tricks out of nowhere for every movie and things just keep going downhill… so needless to say I won’t be getting my hopes too high. Does this warrent a visit to the theater? Eh… don’t think so. The rest of the poster offers us a glimpse of a possible trap/game from the new film and I’m also digging that. So all in all we’ve got ourselves a pretty cool poster but it’s going to take a lot more than that to persuade this guy. I’m going to go ahead and guess the SAW updates aren’t over for the week so keep checking back for more!
