I quite literally just finished telling you how SAW VII has been given the green light and now I’m here to give you a huge SAW VI update!
Now I’ve let known my dislike for the recent offerings of the franchise many times… so why am I getting excited for every piece of SAW VI media thrown at us? Especially today’s announcement! Someone help me come back to reality because I couldn’t help but get excited watching that trailer… I’m dumbfounded because I still have close to no interest in this sequel. Anybody else in the same boat as I am? Perhaps by the time this one hits theaters I’ll be chomping at the bit to get in line… God I hope not. Alright enough of my rambling. What are YOUR thoughts on the trailer? As you can see it makes plenty of use of the number ‘6’ to remind us that this is of course the sixth installment of this popular franchise. Mind you there’s nothing breathtaking coming from this trailer but if you’re even remotely interested it’s definitely worth taking a look.
Here’s the rundown for SAW VI: Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood. It hits theaters everywhere October 23rd.
