You might as well rename October SAWtober. We’re going on what… 5 solid years of October being the home for the yearly SAW madness? That’s just ridiculous. Alas as ridiculous as it may be this year is no different. SAW VI is geared up to hit theaters October 23rd so that gives us three weeks of SAW marketing!

I’m not sure about you guys… but I’m getting pretty intrigued by SAW VI. The last few films did nothing for me but dare I say I’m actually believing the hype for SAW VI? Don’t worry though… I’m not getting my hopes too high. SAW VI comes from director Kevin Greutert with the synopsis reading: Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.
SAW regulars include Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Mark Rolston, Shawnee Smith and Betsy Russell while newcomers like Peter Outerbridge, Larissa Gomes, Tanedra Howard, Shawn Ahmed, Devon Bostick, Caroline Cave, Karen Cliche (below), Elle Downs, James Gilbert and Shauna MacDonald join the franchise… and probably die. Get ready for lots more SAW VI goodies as we eagerly await it’s release!
