ScarJo dieting?

As everyone with a schlong anticipates the first image of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Jon Favreau’s IRON MAN 2, she is spending her time doing crunches and cutting out grilled cheese in order to ensure that we who lack girlfriends are not disappointed.

ScarJo, occasional guest blogger on The Huffington Post (HuffPo), recently posted about her strict workout routine and the balanced diet that she’s implemented in preparation for her highly touted role as the Russian spy. According to her “there is no magic wand to wave over oneself to look good in a latex catsuit.” That’s almost the only direct mention to IRON MAN 2 that she makes, as the rest of the piece turns into a sour indictment of what she so lovingly refers to as “toilet paper rags” and their implicit contribution to eating disorders and warped body image isssues. She says:

Since dedicating myself to getting into “superhero shape,” several articles regarding my weight have been brought to my attention. Claims have been made that I’ve been on a strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3″ frame.

If Scarlett did in fact lose 14 pounds for her role as Black Widow, let’s just hope they weren’t from the chest…or butt. As for her claiming that some journalists obsess over the bodies of celebrites; I have no idea what she’s talking about.
