The release of TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is still more than a month and a half away, but the marketing machine is working overtime. We recently saw a new trailer for the film, and now a new poster has arrived online. This poster first appeared on Arnold Schwarzenegger's Instagram account, which is quite appropriate since his DARK FATE character – a bearded Terminator – is the only character featured on it.

As the poster notes, DARK FATE marks the return of James Cameron to the franchise he created. Cameron is a producer on the film and worked with David S. Goyer, Justin Rhodes, Charles Eglee, and Josh Friedman to craft the story, which ignores the events of the TERMINATOR movies Cameron wasn't involved with. This sequel is a follow-up to only THE TERMINATOR and TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY.

Goyer, Rhodes, and Billy Ray wrote the screenplay. Linda Hamilton also returns to the franchise for this film, which finds that her character Sarah Connor is

now a grizzled lone wolf who must team up with a mechanically enhanced female soldier (Mackenzie Davis) to protect another young woman (Natalia Reyes) targeted by Terminators.

Joining Schwarzenegger, Hamilton, Davis, and Reyes in the cast are Diego Boneta, Gabriel Luna, and Edward Furlong. Brett Azar and Jude Collie were the CGI stand-ins for Schwarzenegger and Furlong in scenes that take place during the time of TERMINATOR 2.

Directed by DEADPOOL's Tim Miller, TERMINATOR: DARK FATE is set to reach theatres on November 1st.
