Director Scott Derrickson tweeted out a rather cryptic image last night that has a lot of Marvel fans talking today. It’s an image of what many say to be Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. It’s accompanied by the quote "Strange but not a stranger," from the Talking Heads song “Burning Down the House.” Derrickson hasn’t verified what it all means but a less knee-jerk reaction would be that it’s some pretty cool fan art. Marvel officially cast the Sherlock actor in the lead role earlier this month so this would be a pretty sweet Christmas present.

Check it out and let us know what you think:

I might sound like one of those so-called fathers on Maury who walk up to the monitor and point out the features on some poor kids face, but this looks more like Ethan Hawke (it's probably the mustache). Then again, I haven’t taken the time to really stare into the beautiful eyes of either actor; I’m just going to say its likely art. Marvel has been pretty quiet when it comes to DOCTOR STRANGE which is set to his theaters on November 4, 2016, so if this is all we have right now, we’ll take it.

What do you think of the image?
