Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Writer/narrator Cody Meirick, director of the Scary Stories documentary about  Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, is back with a new episode of the SCARY STUDIES series, which one of the several cool shows we have on our JoBlo Horror Videos YouTube channel. With SCARY STUDIES, Meirick aims to explore the meanings behind urban legends and other scary stories we tell ourselves.

The new episode digs into PHONE CALL HORROR, something that has been featured in several horror classics.

A mysterious phone call is a sinister device used in many scary stories and horror movies. Looking at a true real life murder cases, as well as films like Black Christmas, Scream, Nightmare on Elm Street and When a Stranger Calls, we look in depth at the infamous "killer is in the house" or babysitter driven horror scenarios.

The PHONE CALL HORROR episode is embedded above, and previous episodes of SCARY STUDIES can be seen below! If you like what you see in this series, spread the word and share!
