The day Legendary Pictures finally unveil their official design for everybody’s favorite giant lizard in the upcoming GODZILLA reboot will be a day to remember. Well probably not but you get what I’m saying, right?
Unfortunately that day isn’t today. What today does bring, or more specifically The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog, is news that Legendary have gone and tapped Max Borenstein to pen the script for GODZILLA. Apparently they weren’t digging scribe David Goyer’s take on the material.
Gareth Edwards has already been tapped with the task of directing the monster romp, which has a basic synopsis that reads:
A creature feature centered on the giant city-destroying and monster-fighting lizard.
Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni will be producing with Dan Lin, Roy Lee and Brian Rogers. Warner Bros., per their deal with Legendary, will distribute.
And that’s all she wrote folks. We’ll of course be keeping our eyes and ears open for any other GODZILLA news that might roll our way so be sure to check back soon for more.
