Having made its debut on the Australian streaming service Stan back in December, the second season of the Wolf Creek television series recently made its way to the UK, and now WOLF CREEK franchise creator Greg McLean has revealed when fans in the US can expect to see it. Speaking with Bloody-Disgusting, McLean said Wolf Creek season two

is coming out in the US via the POP network in October this year. Fans have really embraced the new season and I’m very proud of this new installment. New story — new characters – and Mick is back and badder than ever."

In this new season,

Mick Taylor sees an opportunity of a lifetime after a chance encounter with a coach full of tourists from around the globe. The unwitting travelers begin an outback adventure none of them could have imagined.

John Jarratt reprises the role of Mick Taylor, hunting down a cast that includes Tess Haubrich, Matt Day, Ben Oxenbould, Laura Wheelwright, Stephen Hunter, Jason Chong, Charlie Clausen, Christopher Kirby, Felicity Price, Josephine Langford, Elsa Cocquerel, Adam Fiorentino, Julian Pulvermacher, Elijah Williams, and Chris Haywood.

While McLean is focused on getting the TV show out into the world right now, he also acknowledged that he intends to make a third WOLF CREEK feature at some point.

Wolf Creek 3 will happen, it’s a matter of finding the right time to shoot the movie."

Whenever WOLF CREEK 3 does happen, it will be interesting to see what sort of story McLean chooses to tell in feature form rather than turning it into another season of the TV series.
