Seth MacFarlane meets James Bond in this new Oscar commercial

With the Oscars later this month, expect more and more advertising to hit ABC and related networks. While producers are trying to keep quiet about some special events during the telecast, it has been known for a while that there will be a tribute to James Bond‘s 50th Anniversary. Although SKYFALL did not get a Best Picture nomination, I am sure the success of the latest 007 movie has the Academy looking to cash in.

This commercial featuring host Seth MacFarlane uses the old Billy Crystal trick of inserting the current host into classic film scenes. Here MacFarlane gets to goof around with the previous Bond, Pierce Brosnan.

Rumors have it that all of the Bond actors may be appearing on stage together for the first time. So, we may see Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig looking debonair and kickass.

The Oscars air live on ABC on February 24th and SKYFALL hits Blu-ray on February 12th.
