I’m sure that I may be disagreed with on this but
I can say (and argue if necessary!) that director Stanley Kubrick is by far one
of the best director’s to ever live. I know that there are a lot of people that
disagree with that statement, but for me he was the man who opened my eyes to a
whole other realm of filmmaking, and story telling in general.
With that said I’m more than delighted to share
the fact that You Tube is now hosting a very cool documentary online that
chronicles what happened behind the scenes of one of my all time favorites;
THE SHINING!
Put together by Vivian Kubrick, Stanley’s
daughter, the feature contains rare interviews with
Jack Nicholson,
Shelley Duvall, Daniel Lloyd (Danny), and Scatman Crothers. The documentary will
also feature some cool behind the scenes footage that will have Kubrick himself
in it.
