Silence of the Lambs Sequel Series “Clarice” Coming from CBS

Hello, Clarice… is what CBS is saying to a brand new crime drama series based on Hannibal Lecter's favorite female agent. The series, titled CLARICE, is set to take place after the events of THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and as of now, Hannibal is not rumored to be involved. CLARICE will be written and executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, and, apparently, has the network pretty excited.

The story is set in 1993, a year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs. The series is a deep dive into the untold personal story of Clarice Starling, as she returns to the field to pursue serial murderers and sexual predators while navigating the high stakes political world of Washington, D.C.

I am all for this and think it's an awesome idea! And it would be even better if it could lead to the return of Bryan Fuller's HANNIBAL series which, I feel, was one of the greatest television series ever and deserved to be renewed for a fourth season on CBS! I mean, if CLARICE is now coming to our home screens, why the hell can't they bring back Mads Mikkelsen and Hugh Dancy for more fun as Dr. Lecter and Will Graham?! Please, get on that CBS! How do you all feel? Let us know below!
