Just a couple of days ago, five new character posters injected some color into the black and white world of SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. Now we have seven new monochrome images that may remove that color but none of the vibrancy in Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller‘s hotly anticipated sequel.

One thing is for sure: SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is not missing a beat in recreating the world last visited in 2005’s original film. That movie adapted the beloved stories from Miller’s iconic noir comic series while this summer’s sequel will feature original tales never before seen by fans. Much like 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE, the new content could split fans of the series or could knock our collective socks off. Either way, we are in for a treat based on these images.

Take a look below at two different appearances for Jessica Alba‘s Nancy, one blonde and the other brunette. Also we have Eva Green as Ava Lord getting close with Josh Brolin. There are also a couple of shots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Johnny as well as a handful of Mickey Rourke in his iconic Marv make-up. The sole color image is a behind the scenes shot of the directors sitting down with Rourke that once again proves just how much Robert Rodriguez can make from some actors and a green screen.

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR opens in theaters on August 22nd, 2014.
