Both Nicolas Cage and an angry jaguar are on the loose in Primal trailer

In the upcoming action film PRIMAL, Nicolas Cage stars as Frank Walsh (Nicolas Cage), a hunter and collector of rare and exotic animals, who bags a priceless white jaguar for a zoo, figuring it’ll be smooth sailing to a big payday. But the ship bearing Frank’s precious cargo has two predators caged in its hold: the cat, and a political assassin being extradited to the U.S. After the assassin breaks free – and then frees the jaguar – Frank feverishly stalks the ship’s cramped corridors in hot pursuit of his prey, right up until the thrilling, unpredictable climax.

Hot damn! Lionsgate's upcoming release had me at Nicolas Cage, but then they had to throw a merciless white jaguar into the mix? Book me a ticket for this wild ride because I am on board!

Helmed by OUTCAST director Nick Powell from a script penned by Richard Leder (THE SUSPECT), PRIMAL also stars Famke Janssen (HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, THE BLACKLIST) as Dr. Ellen Taylor; Kevin Durand (X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, LEGION) as the unlawful Richard Loffler; LaMonica Garrett (SONS OF ANARCHY, CLEMENCY) as John Ringer; and Michael Imperioli (SUMMER OF SAM, GOODFELLAS) as Paul Freed.

Admit it, you're totally going to check this movie out when sets sail in theaters and On Demand beginning on November 8, 2019. I mean, the recipe for greatness is right there, just waiting to be lapped up like a delicious saucer of warm milk. You've got Cage, a cargo ship full of deadly animals on the loose, and plenty of crewmen to dispatch in harsh and creative ways. What's not to look forward to? Personally, I'm hoping that Cage's Frank Walsh gets to ride atop the jaguar during the film's finale, but that remains to be seen. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your day, and may all your Nicolas Cage performances be merry and bright.
