Sorority gets rated

The last update for SORORITY ROW came a couple weeks ago when our resident Mets fan Eric (poor guy…) treated us all to the newest poster for SORORITY ROW. Now since then I’m sure there’s been a bunch of questions running through our genre loving minds about this one. The flick’s a remake of a 1983 ‘classic’ slasher that has a bunch of co-eds running around getting offed… so the biggest question is… what’s this bad boy going to be rated?!

Well the way the horror cinema has been as of late and the fact that this one is coming from Summit Entertainment had fans speculating we’d be looking at a PG-13 tragedy… well it seems that isn’t the case at all! I mean come on… hot co-eds running around a sorority house getting killed… how can this one not be rated R?!

We got a heads up today that Stewart Hendler’s SORORITY ROW will be rated “R” for strong bloody violence, language, some sexuality/nudity and some partying. Awesome! But.. wait a minute… ‘some sexuality/nudity?!’ Seriously? Major bummer. But I suppose beggers can’t be choosers and I’ll gladly accept the R rating, whether that includes several topless babes or not. Now I suppose the question is what hotties will be baring all? Some of the contenders include Briana Evigan, Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Jamie Chung, Margo Harshman, Caroline D’Amore, Audrina Patridge (below), Justine Wachsberger, Alana Hixson, Megan Wolfley, Marlee Fritz, Nicole Moore, Deja Kreutzberg, and Kaylynn Beckham. There’s some guys in the movie too… but who cares about them?

SORORITY ROW hits theaters everywhere just in time for Halloween on October 2nd. Meanwhile keep it here where we’ll update you all on any and all SORORITY ROW news throughout the Summer. Thanks to Joey Monda for the heads up!
