THE LEGO MOVIE is currently doing very well at the box office, but something smaller involving the brick toys will be coming to television in the near future. FOX has announced there will be an all LEGO episode of The Simpsons. Called "Brick Like Me," it will also be the 550th episode of the long-running animated series, and will air on May 4th at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.

Here's the official description of the episode:

Homer wakes up in a world where his family and everyone in Springfield are made of Legos. Will he be able to "put together" how he got there and how to get back home before he's stuck in the brick world forever?

The Simpsons LEGO house just recently went on sale as well, so LEGO and Simpson fans must feel like it's Christmas. I know the series hasn't been as strong as previous seasons, but a LEGO episodes sounds fantastic. There are a ton of humorous things they could do with LEGOS involving The Simpsons, and it should be a ton of fun to watch an all LEGO episode of the show.
