Is it possible that Spider-Man: No Way Home could be the biggest hit of 2021? Many people have believed this will be the case and if the pre-sale rush is any indication, they could very well be right. No Way Home pre-sale tickets are now available and their arrival caused ticketing websites for AMC, Fandango, and others, to crash.

Hardcore fans of Spider-Man stayed up late to purchase tickets when they became available last night at midnight (November 29), but many of them ended up being a bit disappointed. Buying tickets turned out to be no easy task as several ticketing sites, including AMC, Fandango, and Regal began to crash. Some of the company apps also failed to load which caused fans to come to Twitter to vent out their frustrations. You can check out some of the Twitter reactions below!

The hype surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home has certainly gotten bigger and bigger as the film’s release date draws closer. The film’s first trailer became the most-watched video ever in 24 hours, easily topping Avengers: Endgame’s record as the previous king of Marvel movie hype. The second trailer had a full-on theatrical event for its premiere in Los Angeles with Tom Holland making an appearance before a very energetic crowd that seemed blown away by what they eventually saw. There is a lot riding on the film to be THE theatrical experience of the year and it looks like the film will answer that call.

Spider-Man: No Way Home brings back Tom Holland as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man and he will be joined by Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, and J.B. Smoove. The third film will once again be directed by Jon Watts, from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Oh, and then there are those unconfirmed but likely to be true rumors that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are returning as their respective versions of Spider-Man. This speculation alone is probably driving most of the ticket sales.
