The first poster for Matthew Vaughn’s Neil Gaiman-adapted fantasy adventure STARDUST has hit the interwebs and, well, it follows a relatively generic fantasy poster template. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. There’s plenty more to like in this film. Like the fact that it centers on a nebbish dreamer who dares to enter the magical land of Faerie in order to retrieve a fallen star (in the form of Claire Danes, no less) for his beloved and finds himself smack dab in the middle of a high-stakes adventure, which, in a rather delicious coinkidink, includes a smoking hot Michelle Pfeiffer. It’s good stuff. And it opens August 10th.
