Stephen King & John Carpenter remember George A. Romero

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

It has only been two days since we first broke word on the passing of George A Romero, the Godfather of the Living Dead and one of the TRUE Masters of Horror. But in this sad time, I wondered what some of the other current Masters of Horror had to say on Mr. Romero's passing.

I found many, many words of love spread over these here internets, but the ones that personally hit me the hardest were the words of Stephen King and John Carpenter. The two are arguably the top two names in horror now after the passing of Romero and Wes Craven.

Here are their words of remembrance:

Nice to see these men take the time to show a little love towards the man in the huge (stylish af) glasses that was Romero. King and Romero are, of course, most famous for working on CREEPSHOW together and I cannot think of a better collaboration in the world of horror than those two.

Let us know what YOUR fondest memory of George A. Romero is by hitting us up on social media and letting us know on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

RIP GEORGE A ROMERO
