A few months ago Steven Soderbergh’s latest feature CONTAGION infected theaters across the globe and for the most part it scored some pretty positive feedback. If you were one of the unlucky ones that missed Soderbergh’s latest thriller then worry not folks, you’ll be able to see it sooner rather than later!
Sooner as in exactly a month! That’s right, according to DVD Active CONTAGION will be dropping onto DVD and Blu-Ray starting January 3, 2012! What better way to kick off the New Year than disgusting viral goodness? Mmm mmm!
Contagion follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days. As the fast-moving epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus itself. At the same time, ordinary people struggle to survive in a society coming apart.
Unfortunately it looks like we’re getting the bare minimum in bonus features though as the DVD will only contain one featurette: Contagion: How a Virus Changes the World. The Blu-Ray specs have yet to be announced. Here’s hoping for a bit more than a featurette!
