Take a look at Sharktopus’ smiling face!

Here’s a look at Sharktopus’ head, taken from Syfy’s official Twitpic page. (I can’t believe some of the words I just typed.) Accompanying the photo are these words: “Sharktopus is here! Well, his head is here. Practicals — head and two tentacles — arrived safely. We’re keeping S’pus warm.”

Obviously, this is most likely not what we’ll be seeing from the final product, as we all know Syfy just loves their CGI. But at least now we have sort of an idea what S’pus’ face head looks like. Looks like… a shark.

SHARKTOPUS stars Eric Roberts as the creator of the titular monster; it’s being directed by Declan O’Brien (WRONG TURN 3) and was written by Mike MacLean (DINOCROC VS. SUPERGATOR). It’s scheduled to premiere later this year on Syfy – as soon as a date is announced you just know I’ll be all over it.
