We’re only a few weeks away from THE DARK KNIGHT and I have this feeling this one is going to be HUGE! When a movie’s sixth television spot generates as much talk as the 6th spot for THE DARK KNIGHT has… you know you have something amazing.

Over 8500 views and it’s maintaining a perfect score with over 20 votes in just one day. And the huge amounts of positive feedback following this spot thanks to two lines of dialogue spoken by Heath Ledger is enough reason to have this one stand out from the rest. Not bad for a 30 second clip.
“Ouu very poor choice of words. Ahahaha!” and “I love this job.” That’s all it takes to have people looking forward to this flick even more, if that’s possible. I’m about at the stage where the next few weeks are going to be a blur and that epic weekend is going to be unreal. At least that’s what it seems like we’re heading towards.
Even though this TV spot is enough reason for this story by itself, we’ve also got some new stills from the flick! Well, at least they’re new to me. I haven’t seen these yet anywhere, so I figured I’d share them with you. The guys over at Omelete are the ones putting them out and they’re actually a pretty awesome set of stills. Just click the one above to check them out. They showcase Ledger, Gary Oldman, and we even get a shot of Eric Roberts.
And lastly, there seems to be a pretty damn good article over at Wired.com about THE DARK KNIGHT. It’s about Christopher Nolan’s attemtpt to use as little CGI as possible in replace for real action. Awesome. Huge thanks to ‘that Douchebag who sent me the Article’ for the heads up.
THE DARK KNIGHT opens everywhere July 18 and it’s already selling out tickets everywhere you turn. Record breaking? Seems to be a definite possibility.
