There are several Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles projects in the works, including an animated movie produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The animated movie is slated to hit theaters exactly one year from today, and Paramount Pictures has revealed the official title: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. You can check out the title treatment below!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

Love it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will be directed by Jeff Lowe (with Kyler Spears as co-director) from a script by Brendan O’Brien. Nickelodeon president Brian Robbins has previously described the project as a “next-level reinvention of the property.

Seth Rogen added that they would embrace the teenage aspect of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. “As a lifelong fan of Ninja Turtles, weirdly the ‘Teenage’ part of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was always the part that stuck out to me the most,” Rogen said. “And as someone who loves teenage movies, and who’s made a lot of teenage movies, and who literally got their start in their entire profession by writing a teenage movie, the idea of kind of honing in on that element was really exciting to us. I mean, not disregarding the rest, but really using that as kind of a jumping off point for the film.

In addition to the animated movie, Paramount Pictures are also developing a new live-action movie set to be written by Casey and Colin Jost. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem will hit theaters on August 4, 2023. Here’s hoping we’ll see a trailer before too long! What do you think of the title for the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie? What type of Mutant Mayhem is in store for us next year?
