Earlier this year, Kevin Smith purchased the movie theatre he used to go to in his youth, the Atlantic Moviehouse at 82 First Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, and turned it into Smodcastle Cinemas. Last month, Bill MacKay (@Barbarian_Pug on Twitter) tweeted out the idea of Smith hosting a Terrifier double feature at Smodcastle Cinemas, with director and cast Q&As… and Smith quickly turned that idea into a reality! There will indeed be a Terrifier and Terrifier 2 double feature at Smodcastle Cinemas on December 10th, starting at 7pm, and tickets are available at THIS LINK. The price to attend the double feature will make a lot of sense to Smith fans: it’s 37 dollars.

Smith will be moderating Q&As with the cast and crew for both of the films.

Written and directed by Damien Leone, Terrifier (buy a copy of HERE) has the following synopsis: A maniacal clown named Art terrorizes three young women on Halloween night and everyone else who stands in his way.

The film stars Jenna Kanell, Samantha Scaffidi, Catherine Corcoran, and David Howard Thornton.

Leone also wrote and directed Terrifier 2 (buy that one HERE), which tells the following story: After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art’s evil intent.

Thornton is joined in the cast by Lauren LaVera, Elliott Fullam, Kailey Hyman, Katie Maguire, Casey Hartnett, Amelie McLain, Sarah Voigt, Felissa Rose, Tamara Glynn, Samantha Scaffidi, Griffin Santopietro, and Chris Jericho.
