The Arrow in the Head Show looks back at the Sylvester Stallone classic Cobra

The Arrow in the Head Show hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek look back at the 1986 Sylvester Stallone classic Cobra

Sylvester Stallone has had a few franchises over the years – Rocky, Rambo, The Expendables – but he also has a film that should have been a franchise starter, but never received any of the sequels it deserved. That’s the 1986 classic Cobra (watch it HERE), which also happens to be the movie The Arrow in the Head Show hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek are talking about in the new episode of the series. To find out what they had to say about Cobra, check out the video embedded above!

Directed by George P. Cosmatos from a screenplay by Sylvester Stallone (which was apparently loosely based on the novel Fair Game by Paula Gosling), Cobra has the following synopsis: Los Angeles policeman Lt. Marion “Cobra” Cobretti finds himself at the center of a spate of murders carried out by a secret society called New Order: killers who select “weak” members of society for extermination. As the murder rate rises, Cobra takes model Ingrid into protective custody after she witnesses New Order’s leader in action. As Cobra falls for Ingrid, they find shelter in a small town, but must soon fight for survival.

Stallone plays the title character and is joined in the cast by Brigitte Nielsen, Reni Santoni, Andrew Robinson, Brian Thompson, John Herzfeld, Lee Garlington, Art LaFleur, Marco Rodriguez, Ross St. Phillip, Val Avery, David Rasche, and Nick Angott.

Here’s some information on The Arrow in the Head ShowWe’re trying something a bit new here on Arrow In The Head. After many years behind the scenes, we’ve decided to take our sarcastic, booze-influenced style into the video age with The Arrow In The Head Show! Hosted by John Fallon aka The Arrow and Lance Vlcek, we will dig into not only the newest horror flicks hitting the big and small screens but also delve into the good, bad, and ugly of horror from the golden ages of the ’80s through the underrated 90s and maybe a bit beyond.

Something groovy and a tad rough around the edges, we are here to talk shop with a drink in hand, a bit of foul language, and a whole lot of heart.
