The Batman tickets, Matt Reeves, TV spot

The bat is officially out of the bag, folks. The Batman tickets are going on sale, so be sure to mark your calendars. According to a TV spot shared by iSpot, The Batman tickets will be available for pre-order on February 10. The promo does not specify what time the tickets go on sale.

The film’s director, Matt Reeves, has described the film as “scary,” saying it’s closer to a horror movie than any other Batman film. It’s also been confirmed that The Batman is 2 hours and 55 minutes long, so be sure to empty your bladder before you sit down for the big show.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Batman:

Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. With only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth (Andy Serkis), Lt. James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) — amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures, the lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens.

When a killer targets Gotham’s elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.

Are you ready for The Batman tickets to go on sale? Have you been waiting for this announcement since the film was first announced? My excitement for this movie is through the roof, and I’m sure that I’m not alone. I’m anxious to see Robert Pattinson’s portrayal of Bruce Wayne, and the thought of Zoe Kravitz playing Selina Kyle is like catnip for my Batman-loving heart. No amount of pandemic closures can stop me from seeing this movie. I’ll travel out of the country if I have to, though, I don’t think it will come to that.

Be sure to set a reminder on your phone so you don’t miss a chance to get The Batman tickets before they’re sold out!
