The Batmobile chases down the Joker in these on-set videos of Suicide Squad

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Rumors have spread that Ben Affleck‘s Bruce Wayne/Batman will show up in SUICIDE SQUAD in some capacity. Whether it’ll be a post-credits scene, flashback, or the Joker’s wet dream is anyone’s guess, but at the very least we now know the Batmobile will come into play. Thanks to a multitude of Instagram users in Toronto, we have some of that video footage in action!

Okay, so few people are sold on the look of some of these characters (most notably, the Joker) but on-set pictures/video can be deceiving. After all, one look at the above doesn’t paint a very exciting picture, but it’s all about context. Frankly, I’ve come to be pretty indifferent about most comic book films until they’re released. In DC and Warner Bros.’ case, the pressure is on them to deliver something Marvel hasn’t. For better or for worse, I believe they’re going to do exactly that.

SUICIDE SQUAD will hit theaters on August 5, 2016.
