Yesterday we shared a pair of clips from the new HELLBOY film in which the title character, played by David Harbour, was preparing to go hunt giants. Now another clip from the film has arrived online and it shows Hellboy facing off with a different adversary: Nimue the Blood Queen, played by Milla Jovovich.
The Blood Queen is looking to set off an apocalyptic event so she can recreate the world herself, and in this clip she asks Hellboy to help her, offering him the chance to be her King.
It's a bold strategy, but I have a feeling it's not going to pay off for her.
Directed by Neil Marshall from a screenplay by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden, Aron Coleite, and Hellboy comic book creator Mike Mignola, this HELLBOY finds the character,
along with his team of paranormal researchers, trying to save the world from a medieval sorceress who wants to destroy humankind.
Harbour and Jovovich are joined in the cast by Ian McShane as Hellboy's mentor Professor Broom; Daniel Dae Kim as Major Ben Daimio, who can turn into a jaguar; Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, "who retains a connection to the magical world after being kidnapped by fairies as a child"; Alistair Petrie as Lord Adam Glaren of the occult society Osiris Club; Penelope Mitchell as the elder witch Ganeida, Sophie Okonedo as the seer Lady Hatton, Brian Gleeson as the wizard Merlin, and (this is a rumor) Thomas Haden Church as Lobster Johnson.
HELLBOY is set to reach theatres on April 12th.
