The cast of Aladdin praise the wonders of their film in new featurette

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I know Disney's upcoming live-action adaptation of ALADDIN hasn't exactly been embraced by everyone, but I've slowly been coming around to the Guy Ritchie film; It looks colourful, fun, and it's got those songs which just about everyone and their pet monkey knows off by heart. Disney has released a new featurette for ALADDIN which finds Will Smith (Genie), Mena Massoud (Aladdin), Naomi Scott (Jasmine), and Nasim Pedrad (Dalia) praising the wonders of the new film, all while showing off some fresh behind-the-scenes footage.

In addition to Will Smith, Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Nasim Pedrad, ALADDIN also stars Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, Navid Negahban as the Sultan, Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders, Numan Acar as Hakim, Alan Tudyk as Iago, and Frank Welker reprising his roles from the original film as Abu and the Cave of Wonders. Our own Editor-in-Chief Paul Shirey caught a scene from the film at CinemaCon last month, and said that it looked like fun and was "really energetic and full of visual flair." ALADDIN will hit theaters on May 24th.
