We’ve all been anxious to see who will make up the cast of the upcoming sequel to THE EXPENDABLES, and now that the names are coming in, we aren’t disappointed. David Varod, CEO of NU Boyana, a studio in Bulgaria where the film will be shot, revealed a number of exciting cast members to Novinite.
Starring in THE EXPENDABLES 2 are: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, John Travolta, Chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, and Bruce Willis. Talk about action-packed! This line-up could very well top the original.
Varod says that he believes that the sequel will be better than the first. Shooting begins in Bulgaria in September. Simon West (CON AIR, THE MECHANIC) directs from a script by David Agosto and Ken Kaufman. It’s due to hit theaters on August 17, 2012.
