The final trailer for Maze Runner: The Death Cure spreads across the net

The final trailer for MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE is … well, finally here! In the sequel directed by Wes Ball, Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.

In addition to O'Brien, this final film in the trilogy also stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Giancarlo Espositio, Aidan Gillen, Ki Hong Lee, Barry Pepper, and Patricia Clarkson.

I must admit that I think this movie looks pretty sweet. I've yet to see MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS, though I did enjoy the first film in the series well enough. Oh sure, it's a bit of testosterone-driven YA fluff, but a little bit of mindless entertainment never hurt anyone. In fact, now that I've seen this trailer, I might have to get caught up on the films so that I can check this new one out when it hits for a home release, down the road.
