The new Flash posters feature the main trio, which includes Micheal Keaton as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, and Ezra Miller as the scarlet speedster. The first screening of The Flash took place at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last month and our own Chris Bumbray was in attendance. “Believe the hype folks – truly one of the great superhero movies,” Bumbray wrote in his first reaction. “Ezra Miller (x2), Sasha Calle and MICHAEL KEATON. It’s pretty perfect and one of the best films of this type you could ever hope to see.” You can check out more first reactions right here.

While I’m definitely looking forward to The Flash, I’ve been trying to keep my expectations in check. It feels like the hype has risen to such extremes that the film couldn’t possibly live up to it… unless it could. Easy now, Kevin. At the very least, I’m sure the movie will be an entertaining ride, and sometimes, that’s all we need.

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past,” reads the official synopsis of The Flash. “But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash will hit theaters on June 16th.
